Sin Eaters

Darklings seeking redemption, simply put they are making up for what they have taken and use their power to absorb people's issues or pain, thus allowing them to move on in life. If someone is hurting from cancer, or a tragedy that they were never able to get past, a Sin Eater will take that pain into themselves and the person will be able to go on. The suffering a Sin Eater endures can never be measured, but they do this in hopes of one day rebalancing the scales and being able to walk in the light content with the affect they had on the world..
