Working on the Website and Changing Classroom

The Website

The website is almost complete, which makes everyone very happy.  We are missing just one html page, which Joseph is working on right now.  We’re going to need opinions of course.  If you have one, drop us a note!

Changing Classroom

As many of you know, I am a teacher by day and Joseph’s assistant by night.  Makes for a busy, interesting life.  I heard someone say last week that they were bored and didn’t know what to do with herself after work.  I laughed.

Today was the last day of school.  Joseph came with me to school to help move lots and lots of stuff from one classroom to another.  I stayed behind to set up my new classroom because the new school year starts next Thursday.

It was marvelous watching Joseph, the big published author, interact with the itty-bitty students, tying on their friendship bracelets for them, helping them with their illustrations, talking about Transformers the movie.  There are many reasons why I love Mr. J. Corsentino and this is one of them.

Fiddling with the Blog

The new Time of the Faeries blog is starting to take shape. I’ve been fiddling with it all night, and do you know for what? For a banner manager in the footer. I have not figured out how to have a smaller banner in the sidebar because I use widget. Why doesn’t this code work for widget? And really, what is a widget anyway? I am getting tired.

I shall call it a success that we have rotating banners in the footer of this blog and call it a day. For my fantasy photographer friends out there, I will add a link to your website in the blogroll if you e-mail me your link address and name. If you are interested in purchasing banner space at the bottom of the page, e-mail to request a price quote. Time for bed!

Working on new TOTF site

She’s a gonna be a beauty!  I can’t wait to be done with her, simply because she’s a lot of work.  I definitely like the new layout better.  I hate it that we’re limiting content, but I guess that’s better than too much content.
