Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is a day of reflection, of family, of giving.  To that end, Joseph and I of Time of the Faeries wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!  Please enjoy Joseph Corsentino’s latest Nephilim image, and visit the Los Angeles Food Bank to learn more about fighting hunger during this, the beginning of the season of greatest need.

Rocky Steps

To cap off Faeriecon, Joseph Corsentino, the big fairy photographer, took this night time photograph of the “Rocky” steps in Philadelphia.  You know, the steps in the movie “Rocky”?  You don’t?  Boy, am I old!  See you there next year!

Signed a Contract

We can’t say too much about it right now, but we just signed a contract with a company that will make many of our fans very happy.  Usually, when these fans e-mail us, we have to deny their requests.  But, if everything goes well, we’ll be able to say “YES!” 

So, keep an eye out in the next two months for some good news!

Happy 4th of July

Today is a day of celebration.. We have finished the new website ONTIME mind you.. We have done our waiting in line for the new Transformers movie and was blown away by the awsome ET/Jurassic Park/ID4 experience. And now.. its fireworks time.. While in recent years I find myself not as patriotic as in the past.. I will always dream about the America that could have been and can still be.. once our currents powers of govt and its corporate sponsers go the way of the do do.. leaving room for a truer democracy and a return to freedom..

In the meantime.. having just woken up.. its time to see whats going on in the world.. – Joseph Corsentino.

Working on the Website and Changing Classroom

The Website

The website is almost complete, which makes everyone very happy.  We are missing just one html page, which Joseph is working on right now.  We’re going to need opinions of course.  If you have one, drop us a note!

Changing Classroom

As many of you know, I am a teacher by day and Joseph’s assistant by night.  Makes for a busy, interesting life.  I heard someone say last week that they were bored and didn’t know what to do with herself after work.  I laughed.

Today was the last day of school.  Joseph came with me to school to help move lots and lots of stuff from one classroom to another.  I stayed behind to set up my new classroom because the new school year starts next Thursday.

It was marvelous watching Joseph, the big published author, interact with the itty-bitty students, tying on their friendship bracelets for them, helping them with their illustrations, talking about Transformers the movie.  There are many reasons why I love Mr. J. Corsentino and this is one of them.

Joseph and I welcome you to our new blog! We’re trying out something new, a way to really keep in touch with friends of Time of the Faeries. The newsletters are great, but we always feel like we better have something significant to write before sending out those newsletters.
