Getting Ready for LOSCON! Thanksgiving Weekend.
November 21, 2009 on 10:15 am | In appearances, conventions | No CommentsLOSCON is our favorite convention of the year. An extraordinary, intellectual, intimate, literary sci-fi/fantasy convention where you get to hang out with people like Harry Turtledove, Ray Bradbury, and the writers of Battlestar Galactica.
This is the convention we live for every year 0_0 Or to be precise, it’s the room parties we live for every year! Who can miss out on the wine & cheese room? Or the desert room? Or the try rare vodka room? The best room? By invitation only: party to 6 a.m. room.
This year, as always, we will hang up our art in the artshow and walk away to enjoy LOSCON. Every one is welcome to join us in this extraordinary experience!

Preparing for FaerieWorlds!
July 26, 2009 on 12:41 am | In appearances, calendar, conventions, faerieworlds, fantasy photographers, fantasy photography | 1 CommentHello all! It’s Kendra again–Joseph and Donny’s handy intern.
With less than a week left til FaerieWorlds, Donny, Joseph, Maxwell (their friend and model) and I are keeping plenty busy buying supplies, making lists, and printing images that they’ll be selling at the event. According to Donny, we are more on schedule than usual, but there’s still plenty to do. But we’re all excited to see how the event goes, especially with the change in venue from Secret House to Mount Pisgah.
If you’re attending, be sure to stop by the Time of Faeries booth and say hello! There are free Time of the Faeries postcards for visitors! This will be the premier of the 2010 calendar as well as some new images. There will also be a little show of my own work. Hope to see you there!
Labyrinth of Jareth Goblin Clockwork Night July 10th, Los Angeles
July 7, 2009 on 1:04 pm | In appearances, conventions, cool stuff, fairies | No CommentsEveryone knows about the enchanting masquerade that is the Labyrinth of Jareth, held annually in Los Angeles. The faes come from all over the country dressed in their best to impress.
This year, there will also be a Goblin Clockwork Night as part of Labyrinth of Jareth on Friday night. It’s a steampunk inspired evening of mischief. If the rumors I hear are true, it will be an amazing evening of entertainment. Come check it out and come dressed in your best, steampunk or otherwise!

2009 NY Comic Con – Set Up!
February 6, 2009 on 12:55 am | In Comic-con, appearances, calendar, conventions, on sale | 1 CommentJoseph Corsentino is setting up at NY Comic Con 2009! Check out the booth. This year, Time of the Faeries is attending NY Comic Con for the first time ever and sharing a booth with amazing artist Scott Grimando. As usual, Joseph is bringing some gorgeous new art, and some old fan favorites.
If you are in the New York area, I highly recommend that you go! San Diego Comic Con is a classic on the West Coast, but it’s always out of reach for fans on the West Coast. NY Comic Con is your best bet!
And this year, NY Comic Con is one of the few chances that fans on the East Coast gets to visit with Joseph in person as we’re limiting our conventions this year to focus on photoshoots. So, come on by and say hello!
For those who can’t come, drop by the online Time of the Faeries store to get your fix! We have a great sale going on until Valentine’s Day! Free books and free exclusive prints! 10% off on the Calendar! You can’t ask for more

LOSCON is this weekend!
November 28, 2008 on 10:31 am | In appearances, conventions | No CommentsThis is it. Joseph and I are rushing out the door to head down to the LAX Marriott in Westchester, CA for the amazing little convention called LOSCON. Three days of fun, friends, intelligent conversation, room parties, intense panels…Why am I sitting here blogging about it?! I have to go! You may or may not hear from me again until after the con, but if you are in town, come play!
Joseph Corsentino’s artwork will be in the artshow. Plenty of new images to browse and bid on. We will both be doing panels. So, once again, come play!
Getting Ready for LOSCON
November 24, 2008 on 11:35 pm | In appearances, conventions | No CommentsOur most favorite of all favorite local convention is happening this weekend. I am so excited, I’m shivering with anticipation. *shiver* See?!
Joseph has been full on printing for the artshow. As usual, Joseph has lots of new fairy photographs, never before seen, available in the artshow, as well as some oldies but goodies.
Joseph is doing a panel on art. I’m doing my first panel EVER on costuming.
This year, I’m not making a costume specifically for LOSCON
Great sadness there. We just don’t have the time this year. Oh well, it just means that I’m dipping into the Time of the Faeries costume department to whip up something funky, fun, and modern fairy-ish.
As usual, LOSCON will be so fun! See you at the room parties!
