J. Corsentino′s Time of the Faeries is an excursion in to the dark and disturbing underworld of Faerie. His faery girls although beautiful , are feral beings who would kiss you or bite you with equal ease. These evocative photographs draw the viewer effortlessly in to the urban streets and parks of our decaying cities , giving us a glimpse of the magic that stalks our lives , blessing and cursing at whim. “Come away oh human child” – well only if you dare!” – Wendy Froud

IV. Beyond Fantasy Magazine – Cover of Issue #4

Beyond Fantasy Magazine gets better and better with every issue!

Mid 2009, the talented Rhonda asked us to join her in a new venture, creating Beyond Fantasy Magazine, a magazine geared toward the rising stars of pop media, art, and music. We couldn’t have been more honored!

Almost a year later, we can proudly point to our fourth issue as our best issue ever and we look forward to creating the fun, funky, and edgy in full-color, glossy fantasy magazines.

That said, it is exciting for us to announce that Joseph Corsentino will be featured on the cover of Beyond Fantasy Magazine, with a fantastic article on the modern faeries. The article is a quick introduction to the world of The Afterlight, the new graphic novel series coming in late fall 2010.

Grab a glossy copy today on line or subscribe to the ezine issue for only $5!

V. The Afterlight: Kai-Fire from Within

Time of the Faeries: The Afterlight is a work in progress that makes five years of hard work all worth it! The Afterlight is the new graphic novel series by Joseph Corsentino featuring his faeries, angels, and vampires.

Fairies, Faeries, and other Fantasy Art

July 10, 2007 on 10:12 pm | In newsletter, website | No Comments

Fairies, faeries, and other fantasy art stuff.  Regular readers will notice that we have added a Google Adsense thingy on the left of our blog.  We’re trying to figure things out, add functionality for our readers and also pay for the maintenance of this website and blog.  Thus, I’m repeating the spelling of fairies in various format to clue Google into the fact that this blog is a fantasy art centered blog and therefore Google should display related advertisements.

Is it working?Changing the subject a little, I am finally writing the July Time of the Faeries (also spelled Fairies ehehehe) newsletter.  The newsletter will go out late, as usual, though I cleverly never make any promise about when the newsletter is scheduled to go out.  Also, I blame any mishaps on the mischievous modern fairies.  Joseph aka J. Corsentino, tears his hair out whenever I start working on the newsletter, because we disagree on what news we put in the newsletter.  I say, if Mr. Joseph Corsentino wants full control of his newsletter, then he should write it!  BWAHAHAHA

-Donny Corsentino

Joseph and I welcome you to our new blog! We’re trying out something new, a way to really keep in touch with friends of Time of the Faeries. The newsletters are great, but we always feel like we better have something significant to write before sending out those newsletters.

So, bring on the conversation!
