Website is updating!
November 16, 2008 on 2:14 am | In new images, website | No CommentsWe are slowly but surely updating the Time of the Faeries website. We are not creating a whole new website because we are saving that big job for a whole new world…as some of you might have guessed by our new logo! *sshh* For now, it’s in development.
Time of the Faeries itself has a brand new cover index site! Visit http://www.timeofthefaeries.com to check out our new cover image. What do you think? Is it iconic? It is part of the Afterworld series, of which only a few exists.
To see more new images, and many not found on the website, keep an eye on the blog, but also, befriend us on myspace/jcorso or myspace/faeriedonny.

Joseph Corsentino is in writing mode!
November 15, 2008 on 2:36 pm | In Faerie Con, conventions, modern fairies | No CommentsFor the last few days, Joseph has been in uber writing mode, knocking out pages and pages of Time of the Faeries. This is truly exciting! I don’t know how much of it I can sneak away from him to post on here, but I till be trying
Give you guys an idea of where we are taking TOTF now.
In the meantime, all photoshop has been put on hold. Luckily, Joseph finished quite alot before his writing bug bit him.
Here’s another one to enjoy! Yes, that’s me as a faerie! Along with Maxwell in the mean streets of Philadelphia, right before Faericon.

Happy Halloween!
October 30, 2008 on 8:56 pm | In cool stuff | No CommentsTomorrow will be Halloween. Our darklings will be out having fun, our faeries will be causing mischief, and our angels will be holed up somewhere safe. We wish everyone a fun and safe Halloween as well!
As I write this, Joseph and I are debating about what to do on this darkly magickal night of the year, at least when it comes to wearing costumes and having rousing fun. Will it be the West Hollywood street celebration again this year? Or something more tamed. Whatever the case will be, you know the entire wardrobe department of Time of the Faeries is at my disposal! BWAHAHAHA Let there be mayhem!

Faeriecon 2008 - The Debrief
October 22, 2008 on 11:01 pm | In Faerie Con, appearances, conventions, fantasy photographers | No CommentsIt is now two weeks after Faeriecon 2008. Whew! It took us two weeks to rest up from the wonderful madness that is Faeriecon!
This year, Time of the Faeries brought our favorite and much loved model Elizabeth Maxwell with us to Philadelphia. Along the way, we picked up David Windham of the Valkyrie Wars, Scott Grimando of Grim Studios, and Tracy Cornett of Grimm Visions.
We met amazing fairy fans and artists from all over the world! Though we were extremely busy running the booth, we all had time to sit down and chat with Toby Froud, Jessica Galbreth, Jasmine Beckett-Smith, Faerie Magazine, Renae Taylor, and a whole lot more! Steven of VirtualCards flew in from Scotland and dropped by to say hello! And how can I forget the awesome Robert of enchantedfolk.com? I met half a dozen people from all over the world that I met online and it was just incredible that I’ve known these people for years and now get to meet them in real life!
Joseph did a panel with Jessica and Jasmine, the three JJJs of the fairy world! LOL It was hysterical because all three are shy artists pushed into the limelight!
Want to see pictures? Here are some from my myspace page. You can see more if you befriend Joseph Corsentino himself at myspace.com/jcorso .

Get Ready for LOSCON!
September 22, 2008 on 5:28 pm | In appearances, conventions | No CommentsAre you in the Los Angeles area? Even if you are not, you must come to the BEST small sci/fi/fantasy convention on the West Coast.
Joseph and I have been going to LOSCON for the last four years and we’ve had an amazing time EVERY time! The conversations are unbeatable. The panels are exciting. We still talk about how the cloning panelists nearly came to fisticuffs that one year. The con suite is STOCKED. But nothing beats the room parties after hours. The wine and cheese party. The chili party. The desert party. The wine tasting party. And so on!
So, come join us at LOSCON at the Los Angeles Marriott this Thanksgiving weekend!
Also, Joseph Corsentino will be showing new art in the artshow, but really, our main reason for going to LOSCON is to geek out.

Focus on Modern Faeries
September 22, 2008 on 12:57 am | In fairies, modern fairies | No CommentsModern faeries live among us here and now in the Time of the Faeries universe. After struggling for decades in the alleys and sewers of cities, the faeries finally learn how to live with humans and effect changes. They regain their power, their confidence, and find their place in the modern world. Their wings blossom fully again, with glints of mischief in their eyes. Beware though, these faeries are as dangerous as ever, perhaps more so. Their mission in life is make you question yours.
This is Rya, one of the first faeries to evolve into the modern faerie. Her history is long and tragic, but now, she is one of the most powerful and influential of the faeries. Watch her, she is the catalyst that makes things happen.

Another Modern Fairy Photoshoot Done!
September 21, 2008 on 10:38 pm | In fairies, models, photoshoots | No CommentsWe spent an amazing day with Danielle, a beautiful modern day fairy we met at Faerieworlds Festival 2008. She was so naturally a modern faerie, that we couldn’t help but pull together such a costume for her. We then took her around town and just let her go buck wild! We can’t wait to see the final images from this photoshoot. Danielle, you rock!
